Better look after all your valuables up north there, and do us a favor and please find that hole you slithered out off and get back in.

I see Oxxo let you post something. Did you do any special favors for him last night?

Besides, criminals don't need migra's records to know where the gringos live.

Thanks Dave. Just had a few pacificos, and am now in a happy place. Should have stuck to my trip report replies only.

Mood: happy to be in Baja

Last year had to furnish copy of lease and address--

This year "they" said additional information on the landlord was required ?? Go figure for an FM3.

You get the idea. There is no law that says you have to have some fixed address in Mexico with a FM3. A FM2 is a different story.

It's up to 47 bodies in 6 days. The mayor of Tijuana, Jorge Ramos, said the situtation was "delicate". Does that man have a way with words, or what?

By the way, two people were shot up last night at a little taco stand right on the main drag in Rosarito.

Regarding FM3 info:

You can only get the first one from a Mexican Consulate in the U.S. and it is good for one year. Renewals have to be done in Mexico.

Not only that, but you have to register your address with your local Migra within 10 days of arrival.

Local Migra also wants to be the issuing body.

Yes, they have entered the computer age. Compliance is mandatory. To not comply= deportation.

It's 30 days. It is in the regulations for Inscripción en el Registro Nacional de Extranjeros.

Mood: Pole Line Road postponed due to injury

Reminds me of a familiar song from my youth..

Lyrics to Jus Lyke Compton :

Finally out the mother%u!kin C-P-T
Off to other cities and $h!t
No longer just an underground hit
Movin thangs... a local figga made good
And made a name off of making tapes for figgaz in the hood
And now, let me tell a little story
About the places that I been to and the $h!t that I been through
Like fightin and shootouts and bangin and $h!t
All because a figga made a hit, check it
Nineteen-ninety-one, it was double or nothin that a figga would hit
Then we broke out with the fonky $h!t
About bxxches and figgaz and gettin drunken off that bud
I was doing the $h!t they hadn't heard of
But foolish was I to think that it wasn't no other cities like this
And that they didn't like this
That Compton was the home of a foot in yo @$$
Where you got blast
And now that's just a thing of the past
Let me tell ya why firsthand, we did a show up in Oak-land
And figgaz was kickin up sand, to them bangin ain't nothin new
And slangin ain't nothin new
And for every figga we done shot
They done shot two
Straight through and on since the sixties before I was born
Families of young figgaz mourn
So I'm just letting you know
That if ya plan to take a trip to the bay
Keep your hand on the clip

Becaue Oakland...
Yeah, I'm telling y'all Oakland...

Moving on to St. Louis, where the country is fxxxed
With gold teeth in they mouth, but they still know what's up
Where it's hot as a motherfxxxer
Hot enough to make ya cuss
That's why I kept my burro on the bus
But later on, whenit cooled off we came down
and met a couple of friends
Who put us up on the St. Louis cap
The Smith Center, with Big Bob, Little Steve, Tojo, Biss and Rich
and a couple of b-tches
Then they took us to a man named Gus in a store
He put me down with a herringbone and shoes galore
That's when I started thinking that this wasn't like home
But then they had to prove me wrong
Cuz later that night after we did the show
We went back to the afterset, and wouldn't ya know
Yeah, Bloods and Crips start scrappin and shootin -- in Missouri?
Damn, how could this happen?

Now St. Louis...
Yeah y'all, St. Louis...
