Actually the dead giveaway of the lib mindset was the carbon footprint. I think they had better hurry up and do this trip because at the rate global warming is going, the route will probably be inland at least 2 ot 3 miles from where it was last year.
Maybe I could go run support boat and get a big boat with at least a 2,000 hp turbo diesel to run back and forth. If we are gonna make a "big carbon footprint" might just as well have a good time.

have fun with that!

Check out the chubasco thread in General Discussion, you wouldn't want to be in SOC on a PWC in one of those.

Thanks. It appears a tow or acqua trailer may no be a good idea. The best option it appears would be an actual boat. Definitely bigger than 14', maybe 20-22'
Still getting lots of info here and there.
My son has contacted Brian Conway and has received valuable info from him. (He is the one who already did this trip on jet-skis)
Thanks

No support boats. No towing. Just strap on a couple of small gas cans with your gear and take off...
Some waverunners are actually pretty good on gas:

Awhile back there was a thread about a couple of jetski's traveling from Alaska and had made it to Baja on their way south to?

Their story might be a good resource. As I recall they had no support boat.
