Yea, it is funny. My hubby now gave me some advice about fish and the sport. Tackle is what's above water > the line and , well, the hook also, the
reel etc. An what's under the water on the hook is the bait.
Is a female not going out to fish alowed to make such a mix-up????
(My hubby recommended first to ask him, then posting about fishing. Very good idea!)

don't feel so bad. When I heard 80# tackle, I thought the weights and line and everything weighed 80#, cuz i figured they would have to be using
steel monofilament to get that sucker in!

This is what I really want to point out: You are the first one saying Welcome.

On many other threads I tried to edjucate some folks here. Not that I'm a teacher, but some folks made some serious mistakes (owning a home without
FM-# etc) and they are defenately at the brink to be kicked out of Mexico. Again, I'm not a teacher but would hate to see somebody loosing a home and
such.
But as a result of all those bad words and attacks "below the beltline" I decided to stop to post my knowledge in BajaNomad.
Well, my hubby told me (he posted in BajaNomad some years ago and quit) when I signed up: " You will easily learn that most of the Nomads are
lowbrainers or jerks or alcoholics ar anything combined, not worth to start a serious discussion with those guys as they never will comprehend
anything they don't like."
(Plerase notice, I said 'most' > not all!!!)

Your husband is right squid, there are a few jerks on this forum. Sometimes it seems as though they post more than the "real" Nomads, those who "get
it" and are here to help out when someone needs advise.
Most of us are helpful but we have a "real job or life" and can't always be there for the newbie needing advise. Give us a chance, ignore the drivel,
don't let a few sourpusses chase you away.
