It's much better to post the file on a photo hosting site like photobucket. Otherwise, you are limited to a file size of 50kb, which can be pretty small.

Okay, I tried doing what Hook recommended, but the picture did not upload. When I clicked on the browse files button and selected the picture it showed the image file next to the button, but when I hit post reply only the text appeared. No picture. I'm obviously still missing something - it did not seem to upload. The image is not a large file.
