Some weather station! It says rain. What's that about? Well the barometer has really taken a nose dive in the last 45 minutes. But nothing but BLUE skies except over Mulége and Bob & Susan's.:D

There's one burning like hell right down the coast. Could be near La Bocana...hard to tell but the sky down there is full of smoke.

I was in Brookings a few years back, wearing a coat. Drove about ten miles inland to O'Brien and could hardly breath. The locals said that was nuthin. I said Adiós.

Just talked to an amiga near Escondido, Ca. Been 105-110 for a couple days and they are packing up to head to the Colorado at Laughlin for a water party. Sounds like the thing to do.

Dennis, she said they were going out to buy lifejackets. I think they intend to stay in the water...where it's a mite cooler...drink a few cold ones.

On Brookings. I have always found much hotter temps there than anywhere on the Oregon Coast. That stretch is nicknamed the Banana Belt. Seems like we always have shorts and short sleeves on when there...unlike most other Oregon beaches.

Just went through the Olympic route a while back, Crusoe. You live in a nice part of the world where the sun won't beat you into the ground..although the rain might.

Heck, I even like the lavender fests in Squim! (Hi to mulegemichael & beachgirl)

Hey Pomp, Your in some nice country now too. Watchout for those afternoon onshore N.Westerlys...Going N. from Cape Sebastan South to Crecent City. It can come on fast and blow like stink and make you an old man way before your time. Very humbeling. ++C++
