if you mean here in lovely Asuncion...the roads will definately wash down to B.Juarez bringing sand and dirt with it exposing the water pipes...again but we're used to that.

Last week Juan was telling me it was gonna rain on Oct.3 or 4th....I'm like how do you know? He says it always rains those days...sheesh...I hate it when he's ALWAYS right.

We've had menaceing looking clouds most of the day up here. It has to be due to OLAF. Rain is forecast for Sunday. That would be nice.

Just went outside to wash the dog. Got her all wetted up and it started to rain. Finished washing her and the rain stopped.

I just spoke to a friend in Mulege and they said that some evacuations have started. The government expects it to rain for the next 36hrs. Right now, the rain is off and on.

Hope this helps. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Just over an hour later and it is now dropping rain drops here in Oceanside ... Now, is it an arm of the Baja Sur system or one coming from the north? It is quite warm today here insane diego county!

we only got a few minutes of spitting...enough to turn my wipers on when I went for a beer run with birdog...we've been eating lobster burritos under the palapa and only a few drops of rain to keep things cool so far but it's pretty dark...people are boarding up windows again and all the boats have been pulled out...we have the vehicles gassed up, beer stocked up and are ready for water.

weather

This morning it was clear and sunny with a fog bank of shore approx 3 miles.

Clouds where to the West Southwest and we have high cloud coverage by 10-11 am

With that came "spitting" on and off .... at this time, it is flat calm.

Surf was very nice today, around 6-8 guys out from around 6 a.m. till around 2-3 pm

Would say 5'-7' and water was warm enough for most to not be wearing wet suits.

Really nice here in , La Mision. The drive across the border and through T.J. took 13 minutes to the toll booth.. the construction detoure to Plays Tijuana is gone. And you can directly on "new thick contrete". Not marked all that clear when we came though but if we can do it anyone can...

Can only say it is really nice to be back down in Baja.. so far, no one has raped my wife, stole my car, killed my dogs, shot at me, and I feel fine. No un-usall splotches on by skin, no light headedness, and for dinner we just had menedo and steakes with tortilla's cooked over a wood fire (oh, my 3,4-benzpyrene)...

Just great, looking forward to tomorrow, it does not get any better than this..... even if I do drink a Corona:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Life is good today

Looks like I need to set the date
