Diana - that picture of the litle boy is stupendous. My boys really really want uniforms ... we are working hard to get the coop to put up the cash
for those and then be able to have the coop logo on them .... The uniform really makes a team a team for sure !!
Rafael - I wil have someone meet the trucks at the Hiway Exit to Punta Abreojos/Campo Fisher but thanks for your offer !!! If I may be so bold as to
beg: Please bring down bikes and helmets firstly and then anything sports as the goal is to have a sports club with ping pong, volleyball, basketball,
snorkeling
BAJACAT: Can you give Matt a call at Black Mtn Bicycles and ask him what he has ... I really have no idea what they have collected: 9158 Mira Mesa
Blvd., 92126 (858) 566-0712. And if there is still extra room on your trucks, my sister has some donations which include a surf board for the surf
club (I know, I know) .... she lives in Pt Loma
God bless all of you and thanks from the bottom of my heart

Hit up every business in town and have their names also put on the uniforms. If you want, I can send you pictures that show not just our uniforms,
but those of some other teams----they all have lots of advertisements. You can tell the local businesses that surely they want that kind of
advertisement.
I can also send you pictures of some of the races so they see that these teams are serious.

ALL MT. BIKE PARTS!
Hi, and I hope I can help. As a long time biker, may I suggest that you ask for all and everything related to mt bikes. To keep a "fleet" of bikes
running, it is great to have a stock of used/broken bikes, and parts to work from. I am presently keeping 8 bikes running in our family, spare parts
are a premium!
If you have a central location to keep these bikes and parts, you should be good to go. A local mechanic can work wonders with mucho spare parts.
I do not know when my next trip will be, but I will start a collection now. I do have already a few old helmets, and a ton of parts. I also could
hit up my local bike shops for parts. Keep asking Nomads who will be heading down in the future to grab what they can. Good luck, Ron

Ron, that is really really an excellent idea and I hadn't even thought about it
thanks to all of you .... the response has been overwhelmingly wonderful
and yesterday the bloys blazed their trail and some of them helped me do out civic duty and cleaned up La Bocana
Rightnow I ma on my way to visit the Biosphere and see if we can get equipment to start a proper landfill...I need positive thoughts !!
gracias esp to BajaCat who got the BOCANA BEACH BIKER boys to put megasmiles on their face yesterday when I told them the bikes were a GO !! And
the smiles kinda waned a little when I told them their grades have to be good and family input was important too ... decided to do this since one kid,
whose dad passed away last year, is having some troubles in school ... and subsequently mom ....

Blanca has that same spirit...she is really trying to help out her newly adopted community which I applaud her for....so she deserves any assistance

We need to talk... I race DH up here in CO and run one of the programs to give helmets away to kids locally...
What age group/sizes of helmets do you need? If others here would be willing to help me with the shipping costs and/or get a chain of people to get
them down there (assuming I have the right sizes)... I can send you MTB helmets

Just one word about helmets. They will appreciate any and all helmets. However, when possible, the teams down here really prefer the ones with the
visors with possible----especially for the older children who ride the trails in the races. The sun can be very intense.
We have bought a few nice helmets on sale and then had some of the older kids earn their helmet at a very reduced rate----just another idea and it
helps to keep the older ones involved and responsible. And they all share EVERYTHING with the other members.
Blanca, does your team have a name yet?

Sorry if I offended you, but our Bahia Asuncion team received some helmets from one of the directors of the Giant International Mountain Bike team and
they did not have visors----so not sure how I would assume that your helmets would have visors??? They love anything with the Giant name, however.
It is a good thing if your helmets have visors.
Our team also really appreciated the donated used riding clothes---so if you have any around, you might send this new team some---especially riding
shirts.
