A bad incident for sure! But I remember a couple years ago when a fellow Canuck got killed in Acupulco I think, the CBC and other media in Canada made violence in Mexico a spotlight issue. Until after weeks of milking this a reporter with the CBC finally compared homicides in the US of Canadian citizans to those that happened in Mexico during like a 15 year period. The stat came out to be something like 35-45 killed in the US versus 15-20 in Mexico. His point was that it did not stop Canadians from cross border shopping or vacationing in America, nor did it elicit such media attention.

Since we're commenting off the subject, why was he making trails for hikers and bikers? On whose property? What hikers? What bikers? Trails in Jamaica? Who was his employer? Doesn't sound right to me.

my ex-wives(2) Ouch!!! want to come visit me in Baja... can I get more specific directions/GPS locations where these terrible things happen... I want to give those gals really good directions!!! they both drive really nice SUVs that I think I paid for...
