Mike; Just think you will be close to a Golf Course where those crazy Nuts like Nine go out and chase a little White Ball around!!
Can you beleive it. Hitting a little White Ball then running after it and hitting it again!!
Sure takes Brains for that kind of Game.
Mike; Things were going good the year and a Half I was there. Had a House Built up on the Ridge, bought some vacant Lots, sold the House, made
$75,000, sold the lots made another $40,000.. And I think it would be a good time right now to buy for the Future especially if the Rabble of LA start
fighting and more people will start looking to get out .

I like it here, just don't go near the water on weekends. I see nothing wrong with bikini clad supermarket patrons.
In the winter, the snow birds take over, they remember what manners are.
There's also a quality smallmouth fishery, best in winter, fish averaging over 3lbs.
Crime rate is very low.
Great little carniceria here now for all your mexican style meats.
Did I mention bikini clad store patrons? |
looking forward to it. send me your ph and email via PM

the locals. Love the heat,But its a dry heat.

Summer Heat
I've never found the heat a big deal, but I've lived in the desert, U.S. and Baja, for forty years.
Having spent more than a few Summer holidays on the river and Havasu, mostly 4th of July, one principal difference from the Sea of Cortez is that the
water is COOL and refreshing.

the river is a huge amenity and if you are on and in the water the heat is ok.
out of the water - shade misters and AC/inside a bar.
so JonK send me your contact info and i'll give you a shout with BillP.
PV = Puerto Vallarta? or? when are you there?

Mr. Bile has is right, in that if you're lucky enough to be able to play, the river water is surprisingly refreshing. In fact, as was noted about
housing price affordability, the entire area from Kingman to the East, through Laughlin and North, is a place where soon to be retirees with somewhat
limited resources, should really consider.

Can't beat the sunsets. We have three trips planned every three weeks this summer at Lake Havasu but stay at the south end at Havasu Springs RV Resort
next to Parker Dam. We leave our RV there for the summer which makes for easy traveling.
The lake is nice as long as it's not a Holiday Weekend.
Haven't had a bad trip yet....
