Campo / 'Rancho' Nuevo Mazatlan (Km. 32, south of San Felipe). This is a true campground* with shade trees, running water, cold showers, flush toilets on a wide sand beach: http://vivabaja.com/nm also when we had a group camp there in 2004: http://vivabaja.com/204 and again when a couple of us Nomads camped there in 2006 (when Shell Island was surrounded by water and couldn't be accessed): http://vivabaja.com/806

* most 'campos' south of San Felipe are primarily private home villages, and not set up for vacation campers.

Brisas long gone (3 years). Now some rich Arab raises horses there.
What a waste ...

Ditto, last good place to actually camp on the beach there, very sad, just loved that place.
