I thought this stuff wasn't interesting according to the replies in the other "Paranoid thread" Once again for anybody not up to speed. You have Fulano/Arrowhead/ETC upset with "BN" for banning him. He is also upset if anybody insulted him personally; outed any information about him.( there was a Mike you outed Fulano on Maggie's blog on the Feb 2010 thread. I not sure if this is the same guy?)

This guy also gets upset if anybody dares to make the claim that Mexico is more or less safe, despite the drug cartels, and all the scary stories in the media.

If you cross Fulano he will try to get back at you by seaching for any and all information that's posted about you on the internet, and then try to embarrass you and if possible get you in legal trouble!

I guess I should be honored because I, Joe, just Joe, and Mexicorn made #1 on Fulano's hate list( we aren't the same persons. I covered that in the other thread) but the list is long, and it's just a matter of time you may find yourself on his list. The good news is that blog has very little hits, so not many will see it, but it's alarming the same that you have somebody spending all his waking hours researching things about YOU!
-------

One of my emails is listed above, and somebody from bajad***y@hotmail.com has been sending me weird posts for weeks now. Only recently have those posts turned to THREATS. It looks like these threats are coming from THE GULL! I can't figure what I did to the GULL, but I think he is upset the way I treat Dennis or that I didn't want to give him my phone number? So he says outrageous things like how Dennis is down in TJ talking to the police to get me arrested. Other posts he is calling me this fat "beaner" and MEXICORNHOLE!( this guy still think I'm Mexicorn who they call Mark, and claim he is overweight. Jesus get a clue already)

Weird just weird, how many idol threats "BN" members make to each other which could never be carried out in 100 years. So I make threats back to The GULL telling him to F-off! And that I know about the rentals he rents out and I know where to find him, but he knows nothing about me. ( Hell I just might rent one of his rentals in that flee bitten place!)

Weird people around here, and I'm not just talking about Fulano and Maggie

If you people have a business with a email, or if you email has been posted in any type of forum it will be found if somebody i searching for it. This is what this guy does. He searches small bits and pieces of information and builds from there until he thinks he has a complete picture of you, but many times it leads to dead ends or you get bad or incomplete information. This is one of the reasons I have four or five email accounts, and guard my real email closely. The email Fulano found linked to me is basically a junk email, but I still use it, although it's full of junk now, and I may have to discard it soon.

And if any emails are going around it's not me. I don't know your guys emails. However, the nasty emails I been getting have other emails who have been getting this information. Obviously somebody thinks it's funny, and is sending it around.

To the best of my knowledge, that's not the gull - it's someone else pranking others with a similar email address.

I don't think he has ever published a list yet, but looking at the criteria the guy uses. I imagine the list is long.

Oh another thing I found weird about the email threats I was getting from what appears to be The Gull. Was that he was using a proxy to send those emails to me! I do know how to read header numbers and look up proxies, and some of the proxies were from Florida,Kansas, and other places. What's unusual is that anybody can use a "proxy" but it's very rare you could use a proxy in a email too unless you are paying for a proxy service. ( the free ones usually don't work in emails)

But why use a proxy when you are using your business email and everybody knows who you are? I don't get it?

You know what your right! Dammit, I have been punked! As well as a few other here.

I thought I doubled checked the email too, but it looks the trolls took the real email bajad***y@yahoo.com, and make a fake email The Gull bajad***y@hotmail.com.

I guess I owe the Gull an apology. Sorry dude. But the way "BN" members are friends one day and enemies the next I didn't think much of the emails, except that they were some crazy guy.

An interesting note on my favorite website. Somebody tried to gain access by using the handle of Mark V.( the name they think is Mexicorn) I saw them looking at my handle, so I asked the forum owner if I could have a little fun with the new member where he had to answer my email and he did.

I got this ISP number back it's very weird: They were using a proxy, but when I captured the information it was traced back to Poway,Ca. ( only one person( crazy troll) lives in Poway that we know of?) BTW on Fulano's blog he is trying to claim that I'm the one sending out these fake emails when he actually knows who is really doing it. Shame Shame.

The thing is if I pull up this proxy number now it's says they are in Hong Kong or it's not a real ISP.

Sure Chuck what ever you say...
Like I'm going to get my information from some crazy old guy with yellow teeth sitting up in the sticks of Romona California wearing a stained wife beater T-shirt and a pair of dirty underware that surfs porn sites all day.

To most of us- none of this makes any sense. There are thousands of people who read this board every day a few hundred that post here regularly. Most of us (myself included) enjoy the board for what it is intended. A few people go over the edge and this is quite common on message boards in general- especially when people have thousands of posts. If you disengage from mischief in your posts- you will not likely have a problem with any nomad or get called out on someone else's board. Once these people get into multiple screen names and handles and bring their off-line experiences to cyberspace- things tend to go downhill and get ugly. These people seem to know each other in some way or form and every six months or so these things erupt. This eruption seems particularly vile and beyond what I have witnessed in the past though. I hope they work it out soon- because even on-line squabbles can eat you up inside and everyone has different tolerance levels for stress.

My advice to the rest of us, for what it's worth- is simply don't pay attention if you aren't involved and don't let it distract you from the great information on this board and even from participating in the spirited Off-Topic forums. Some Baja boards are more for information, some more political, some pro-Mexico and some critical of Mexico. No matter what the point of view- I respect people for the hard work it takes to maintain a Blog or a message board and accept they have the right to share their perspective. I have the option of reading or not-reading them... but I personally read them all. For me it's like watching the nightly news on FOX, CNN, PBS, NBC and BBC and then deciding what the real story is.

Having said that, I want to add that some of the people involved in this have helped me tremendously with information, advice and help I would not have gotten otherwise. I don't understand what is going on, and I don't have to in order to respect these people for what they have done for me personally and the generosity that have shown me.

My only complaint with BN is the photo posting system. I don't post many photos here because for me the photo interface is ancient for my 10mb photos and downsizing photos is one step more than is necessary and the quality always seem to suck when I am done. Other boards resize photos automatically and make it easy. Even so- other posters here have and continue to offer to downsize my trip photos for me- I just hate to impose on them...
