the tree, he just climbed it like any young man would ... with is arms, and legs... didn't see him get up... maybe someone tossed him his rifle after... but would think he should be able to climb a tree with his rifle slung.. wouldn't you... he is a solider after all...

Tie a string to the rifle and pull it up easy.

I'm a blue eyed platinum blond gringa,I grew up here in Ensenada.got here in 1981 when I was 10.I have traveled all the Baja many, many times. My husband(who is Mexican)Races off road so we have been in the desert at night all over Baja.I have never felt unsafe,I have never seen any of the stuff that's is all over the news in the US.They make ti sound like it is the old west here in Baja with blood running in the streets..Yes there is a drug war going on.Yes there is violence and bad things happening. But not on every street corner. Some drug dealer kills another drug dealer in Tijuana and it is all over the news in the states. How many shootings happened in Los Angeles last week? Both are big city's and a lot of things happen.

It is sad how the bad press has hurt tourism` and scared a lot of people from coming down.and enjoying this beautiful land. There is nothing like the sunrise in the Baja desert!

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
