So Sorry to Hear of the Sudden Loss of BMG

His posts revealed a character full of wit, insight and a love for life, especiially in their cherished home in Baja.

I am glad that oldlady let us Nomads know about this, so we could try to help out with the feelings of loss.

Most sincere condolences to the family

:no::no:

Such a terrible loss---BMG was a friend the first time we met him and we were just getting to know him as one very good neighbor.

While his posts often showed what a character he was with a great sense of humor, how he lived his life showed that he was a man of real character.

Our thoughts are with lingililingili.

BMG and lingililingili were the first Nomads I met several years ago when we had both just purchased property in La Paz. It was a magic day, because the adventure was just starting for all of us.

This is a big loss for our quirky community - his was the voice of reason in so many silly squabbles, to say nothing of his immense intellect and wit.

My thoughts are with you Ana.

The passing of BMG diminishes us all. I will miss his presence, his great insight, and good humor.

We never met. That loss is mine. Godspeed, BMG.

My sincere condolences to the family.

Damn

Steve and Anna hosted a flan tasting party in my honor a few years back and I was immediately taken with their zest for life and their caring for their fellow man.

I had told Jaime that one of my to do trips was to meet with them and take the Ferry over to Sonora to visit his father-in-law. Guess that won't happen.

For those of you who have never met Steve he can be best described as a huge cuddly bear...Anna told me of their early trips trips down from Berkley in their sailer...Steve was so big that he could not enter the engine room SO if anything happened or needed to be fixed...that was Anna to the rescue...Again painting a face for many deprived of visiting them...Anna was a slight lady with a ready smile who could pour a mean Teguila Liquor only to be exceeded by the pouring of Steve.

I am terribly saddened that this giant of a man has been taken from us...Anna if there is anything Jaime or I can do to lighten your burdon PLEASE let us know

Steve died in his sleep on Tuesday evening from heart failure. There will be a memorial service at La Costa Restaurant on Sunday, assuming all the necessary paperwork is concluded in time for Steve to join us, per his request, in a shoe box. Further details will follow here.

Please, lingililingili requests that the blinking eye be retired in Steve's honor.
