Thanks for the report and your feelings regarding Baja. that is pretty much how I think of Baja and Mexico in general.
When I am in Baja I feel safe.

your energy is really contagious .... fantastic that you are so involved in so many different areas - potter - music - travel -

and I am glad to see that I am not the only one who gets lost in TJ... I had to stop at the same gas station 2 times once - I coud NOT find my way .... it was not fun

When I met Rick Bayless at La Querencia last weekend, I asked him about his perception of the violence, etc.

He noted that he lives in downtown Chicago, where someone is murdered on a nightly basis, and people hardly notice. Someone gets murdered in TJ and it's all over the papers . . .
