After discussing information with Gypsy Jan, it is confirmed that the lost Great Dane, which it seems has found his new home, is not Pickle who was
lost in January of 2010. Thanks to everyone who had the thought that a miracle may have happened!

UPDATE - NOT Pickle
The father of the family that lost Pickle in a car accident contacted me.
Sadly, this is not their beloved dog.
Our new dog is a young male, very affectionate and needy.
He is not leash trained, but willing to learn. He has not made any messes inside, he waits for someone to take him out.
Husband said, "Don't let him up on the furniture!"
Husband is taking a nap and new dog climbs up on the couch to lie alongside me and he outweighs me by at least fifty pounds.
I surrender to the cuddle.

Jan, what's your plan for this dog? Keep him? Try and find a home for him? I have two, but I love Great Danes. Please contact me privately in the
latter case.

Hi Roberto
It depends on the husband barometer.
Trust me, we have never thrown a dog away anywhere near or under the bus.
I will definitely contact you with updates.

Bummer. If it's not Pickles at least this dog is resting comfortably.
I'm flying into Loreto manana. With the picture of pickles now I will look at all dogs with scrutiny. He could still be out there in any part of Baja.
I'm holding out hope.
