Mood: It's a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Day

You Just NEVER Know

Every day is a reminder that you can't be SURE who is nearby.

Sitting in the turn lane at a signal on the highway two days ago, I look down the side-street and there are Three PD units (4 officers) mostly surrounding this petite ('20s) Gal.

Suddenly, she must have gotten the Bad news that she was going in.

She ERUPTED in a frenzy of hitting and tried to run.

End result, she's on the ground with two Cops on top of her thumping away before Handcuffing her and throwing her in the back of one unit.

I remarked to the wife it's that scary people like that (violent AND STUPID) might be standing right next to you at any time.

However, your odds are still better if you stay out of BAD places.

Can't wrap my head around this stuff

Waiting for Godot: A man takes off his belt to hang himself, and his trousers fall down.

Psych 101:

''Black humor can serve as a defense against scary or heartbreaking situations. Black humor switches focus from the tragic to the tragically comical, from sad to silly. Seeing the irony or humor in even the bleakest situation can help you master situations and environments. In fact, some emergency personnel believe that coworkers who don't joke around seem more high strung, touchier, and more likely to burn out. Those who don't have a sense of humor don't last. Black humor doesn't just make people laugh, it decreases stress.
