Hormel...a top shelf brand...

Roberto, I think the use of the word chili is a term of conventional useage to differentiate it from the word chile so that you know whether someone
is talking about the prepared food or the actual pepper, itself. JMG.
Costco in Mexico has a partcularly good hot dog called Salchichas de Res. Kirkland brand. Basically, all beef hotdogs.

I understand that a company bought it out,
changed the packaging and messed with the spice mix. Not the same I have been told.

Hormel Chili is pretty good but there is a brand out there that is better it's called WOLF Brand its popular in the midwest but harder to find in this
region.

Last time I ate anything like that, it came in little green cans that you needed a P-38 to open and was labled: Stew, Beef or Slices,
Pork.......neither had any resemblance to the names on the can. |

You are absolutely right! ...There's nothing in a can that can compare to homemade Chili.
Chili with Burger in it is okay, But when I get serious about making it, I like to cut up some good Beef Chuck ot Top Round to make it and let it
simmer until real tender. Real beef really makes it!!

UMMMMMM Chili dogs. Hebrew National are the only dogs to buy, Hormel chili is good too with the chopped onions,cheese, jalapinos, and mustard. BUT,
for a tasty change, sauerkraut, onions, and mustard with jalapinos is good also. I just figured out what I'm having for lunch!
I yam what I yam and that\'s all what I yam.
