Noon, 70F - 35% humidity. Will probably approach 80 today. Breeze right here is around 4-5 mph. I am making totopos from a kg of tortillas de maize.
Next comes pico de gallo. Store bought corn chips? Yeah, when I start drinking near beer, and eating vegetables out of a can. Yccchhhk!

82 F, sunny and calm. Lake Sakakawea, West Central North Dakota
Very nice weather here on the lake.
82 air temps....62 water surface temps.
But....High winds, thunderstorms w/lightning strikes 150 miles to the east.
Fishing: Walleyes are slamming No. 7 Shadraps on downriggers 1 foot above bottom at 31 feet.

Fillets from these were at a hit at the camp dinner ..no wind, no mosquitos, no rattlesnakes. Fun around the campfire ring..much guitar music.

Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!

70 degrees, and real windy
doppler shows rain still across the valley
and just down the road from our house the huge CalTrans sign says
"Sonora Pass Closed"
"Tioga Pass Closed"
