"Witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting told NBC 7 San Diego they saw Alvarado slowly driving in reverse as the agent opened fire
on her at least six times.
"As the car was backing up the officer was in the street walking toward the car, and discharging,” recalled witness Prince Watson."
This scumbag cop is a murderer plain and simple. He should rot in prison. But he probably won't get more than a slap on the hand.
Meanwhile an innocent woman, mother of 5, is dead. A woman who was NOT the subject of the warrant being served.
Let's review... cops show up to serve a warrant... resulting in the murder of an innocent woman who had nothing to do with the warrant.
TOTAL failure by the police to do their jobs properly resulting in a dead citizen.
Perhaps if they didn't fill law enforcement uniforms with dangerously stupid cowboys this wouldn't happen so often.

Pure speculation...
I believe the review should read:
"Facts unknown."

The fact is a woman is Dead that wasn't the subject of the alleged Warrant. Buy the hand of a P.O.S. Homeland Security Cowboy.

Yeah, if she had some pot in her system she deserved to be shot in cold blood.
Why are you in such a hurry to justify this woman's death?
This would never have happened if uniformed officers were serving this warrant. But no... cowboy cops have to play undercover just like their heroes
on TV. And when innocent people get killed it's all justified. After all, that apartment was known to have "prior complaints of drug activity"...
spare me.
Something is very wrong with law enforcement in the Unites States. This is yet another illustration.

Her toxicology report will probably just lead to more speculation. It really won't tell us how the situation unfolded but I can't find fault with your
curiosity.
What I find most interesting is the knee-jerk reactions and biased assumptions being made here.

No need to wait for tox report
The Wise Judges of Nomad have had their say,
all cops are bad,
all citizens are innocent (even ones with 2.5 convictions on the record)

All I can say is "If I ever get arrested and have to stand trial, there's a few folks here I would not want on my jury... for
any reason."
No offense intended. I've told the same thing to a close friend of mine.

Life is a Ball ..............
Game ?
Pass the Popcorn and Crackerjacks.
Don't FOUL and you won't be OUT of the game.
Court records show Tachiquin-Alvarado was charged with a misdemeanor of being under the influence of a controlled substance in 2000. The case was
dismissed in 2003 after Tachiquin-Alvarado completed a court-ordered, first-time drug offender program. Strike ONE.
In 2004, Tachiquin-Alvarado was charged with a narcotics felony and pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. She received jail time
and three years probation, records show.
Strike TWO
Then, in 2011, Tachiquin-Alvarado was convicted of possession of paraphernalia used for narcotics, a misdemeanor, and received three years probation.
Strike THREE.
+ (2) on the Agent ?
Batter (well, Driver) Called on Five Strikes.
Game over.

"Three Strikes" my ass.
Narcotics convictions do not justify being pumped full of lead. If cops didn't go into every encounter with the public like they were busting the
frigin "French Connection", cooler heads might prevail. But cool heads and cops are like fire and ice.
How about this scenario... "hey look, that woman is taking off in her car"....
She doesn't stop when commanded. Let her go. Write down her license plate number. Either get on the radio and have another cop pull her over asap
or find out where she lives and go pay her a visit. Pretty simple.
But NO!... Disrespect a cops command and it's code red. Big time. Public enemy number one. Open fire and show that felon a lesson her whole family
will feel from now until the end of time.
Cops are dangerous and often stupid. This is fact. It's why they have a public relations problem with a significant percentage of the population.

Well, well...what a surprise...
"Court records show the agent has a history of serious misconduct in his previous job as a deputy sheriff in another county."
Sounds like that fool has a history of being a bad cop and is now a murderer too boot.
Cue the cop worshipers to defend this killer....

That's probably true, but one still has to respect the potential damage that a bullet can do whether he respects the shooter or not.
Tempting fate on moral grounds has its limits.

Next time someone is pointing a gun at you...go ahead and pimp him off with "this is just a police state" and walk away.
Good luck and have a great life.

Some speculation here. Unless the cop had his badge on a chain around his neck, victim probably thought he was a carjacker (even if he was
yelling ''police''! Reads like she hit him, he landed on the hood. In hindsight, she should have slammed on the brakes to get him off her
car.
Personally, if someone in civies with a gun in the street told me to stop, I'd punch it and duck. I would take my chances and I wouldn't stop.
This cop looks like a cowboy and I'm betting he hangs.
