HBD Ken, you are a baja legend!
when you have time i'd love to see more of your old flying pix. Even if you have to scan prints to upload.

Definitely not a legend Mike. But I'm sitting here looking at a 6-ft long shelf of albums with photos (prints) from Baja flying trips from the late 70s through the late 80s (when I switched to slides). I have GOT to get off my burro and scan some of those! Did I ever show you my beautiful old Baron??

It was featured in a past Baja Calendar... as I recall, it was a blue whale, and just north of Bahia de los Angeles??? Ken, did I get that right?

Close David! It is a blue, but it was just south of Loreto off of Puerto Escondido. We went out with Leon at Baja Outpost in Loreto. Edit, I googled them and they are still there!++Ken++

Thanks for the clarification Ken... that is a rugged coastline, indeed! You must have been thrilled to snap that one, with the water flowing so evenly off its tail!

It was fantastic seeing them David. That is one of my favorite photos ever. I probably took 200 images that day but everything fell into place for that one, the water sheeting off the flukes, background, etc.
