Here is where we are!!!
Okay, I really blew it when I told a couple of folks that I was having some severe health problems and now, thank God, I have a bunch of real friends
emailing me with a concern for my health and my future on this place we call Earth.
First off I was not in Baja when this stuff hit me like a ton of bricks—we did have to cancel a two week trip down to a small bend in the road called
La Bocana—UNTIL we get this ‘crap’ behind us. The car load of stuff for the school and others in the area will just have to wait until the doctors
can figure out what is causing me such fits. Have to be on Oxygen 24/7 and this is most damaging to my wee little ego. Also on fairly heavy duty pain
pills because of the spasms that roll through my abdomen and back with a most heavy regularity (have four doctors looking into this matter—two out of
four think ball stones and the other two bouncing back and forth between that and the stones).
Unfortunately, the only test they have wanted to put me through is the MRI—but while this apparently can ‘pinpoint’ the problem—it cannot be done
because of my Pacemaker—is that a catch 22 or what!
Spent a full week in Sharps Hospital.
So now you know at least as much as this mushroom knows. Oh! Yes! The doctors all agree that I have done a terrible job of protecting my Temple—never
thought of it that way.
So! Bottom line is that I will be around for some time yet and would be most happy to put the pain behind and that—I am sure will happen.
The ego thing may, sadly be with me for the rest of life.
With friends like all of you supporting me I am sure that I will be hanging around for a fairly long and fun time.
Gotta tell you that without my Jaime I would be climbing the walls.
Closing with one of my old sayings that I do believe says it all—“True passion is tempered by much thought, honed by our life experiences, and kept
warm by shared friendships.”Bernie Swaim, June 2, 2007
Thanks my friends for being there once again

So Glad to Hear from You, Bernie
And glad that Jaime is watching out for your best interests.
Keep asking questions and get advice from other sources, ya never know when someone else might have a better perspective on your situation.
