We'd do the same thing in Newport. Being on the beach had a warming effect on it's own.
Hate to date myself, but we were before wetsuits. We didn't have them. Divers , of course did, but surfers didn't use them....Never.

State of Emergency

Upstream in Calgary, there has been a huge flood. We're expecting a record flood here tomorrow. 10,000 people are being evacuated.

The weather and food was perfect at Campo Sirena. I think the shrimp tacos at Don Ramons manana may be better maybe.

Low 70's yesterday morning, mid 80's in the afternoon... light winds. Marine layer until 11:30a... then brilliant sun... simply beautiful

Shari, my comment followed right under the one for LORETO. UUUUU-WEEEEE just a slight different in climate between Loreto and Bahia Asunción. You know, like the Gary Larson cartoon...

It came south.

With a million turbines and a few dozen 3megavolt lines the peninsula could power the entire USA. 2 cents per kWh and make a fortune. Yes I am being sarcastic.

Oh yeah? Try splainin' it. You gonna be 101 octane dissed.

Actually the BA weather at the moment would be damned hard to beat. Now if I can only stop the outside from trying to move inside through the cracks I'd have it knocked.
