I'll bring some extra for you also, Blanca.

BUT:

When we come down in December, we plan on bring a couple of large pork butts for one of our dinner parties. I'll brine them first, then put a BBQ rub on them, vacuum seal them, let them rest for about three days. Then cook them in the oven for about 18 hours.
I'll make a triple batch of the BBQ sauce, make some cole slaw with local ingredients, and I'll use local bolillos for the buns.

I forgot to mention, we'll stop by your co-op and pick up some fresh oysters.
Hopefully they'll give me some good ones. Last year I bought 5 dozen, and two dozen had to be thrown away because they were dry.
I'll let you know which day I'll come by to pick them up. Perhaps with your influence they give me some better oysters.

Bajarat and Udo: oysters are available now .... and supposedly muy buenos. They must be ordered and paid for at the cooperative store (in the plant itself), then you go to the beach and wait while they bring them over from across the way.

Udo, Thanks for sharing the BBQ sauce!

Pics of the wine and cheese tasting next on the agenda.
