I had an FJ Cruiser for 4 years but sold it because of the poor visibility, its need for premium gas, and some baffling design "features" (suicide doors, back seats that don't fold forward completely, uneven cargo area, etc.). On the other hand, it was without equal during New England winters. I'm hoping I don't have to live through too many more of those before moving down to Baja for good... :cool:

I am not sure why the FJ was that way, perhaps to retain the 'retro look' ? I think a 4Runner is a far better rig for being practical and looks great, and has all the off road functions as does the FJ (rear locker/ A-TRAC)... I think it did well with folks who wanted the Off Road Vehicle look instead of the SUV look...? Anyway, they are still being sold for the 2014 model year...
