Here in Loreto, clear blue skies, temp of around 83 with cool southerly breeze. Couldn't be more perfect!

View north to Ensenada. Cruise ship is barely visible center left. 30mph wind makes it difficult to keep camera steady. Or is that the delirium tremens?

View east to Maneadero. Next squall enters over Punta Banda hills to right.

Not much rain yet, but lots of wind up here with the cloud crowd. OK, rain just increased as I wrote that. Happy to still have electricity out here. 50/50 that we lose CFE connection sometime this weekend.

Don't even talk like that, Doc. Think positive.

It's been gusting as high as 37 mph down here, Doc. You and the other Cloud People usually get it much harder than I do.
I'll keep an eye out for flying shingles from your casa in the cumuli .

Just got home from Rosarito. It was windy as hell and rainy. Back in Oceanside we just got hit by a gnarly pocket of intense rain and wind. Had to be blowin' 45 knots. Streets flooded.

I did not do my BAJA season this year as its been warm,,DRY and Dry !! my finned friends (salmon, stealhead, trout) need every single drop we can get !! its going to be a very ugly fire season In ca this year as there is NO water to access to drop on all the DRY fuel (wood/undergrowth) fires that are sure to come !! I have recently learned to pray !!! K&T:cool:

Vizcaino in the mid 80's and Eduardo and I found B.A. significantly cooler when we returned. A dark long sleeve shirt was not very comfortable inland. At 0800 we used the heater in the car on the way to Vizcaino. Turned it off after the el rebombeo. We encountered drizzle, one wiper swipe every three seconds on our way to Viz. Cleared up at 0900 near the bank.

I love folks from BC = when water unfreezes it's a heat wave.

Jeeeezo...it never fails. Just got power back after a couple of hours loading the radios with batteries.
Not complaining though. I remember when it would have taken three days to fix the problem.

Thank you CFE.

Rain wise to this point, the storm was less than expected. But I just stepped outside and what a racket I heard!!! Must be thousands of frogs grateful for the rain and hoping for a chance to make polliwogs!!!!
