I have pulled all makes and models of trucks/cars/vans out of the unforgiving sand here on the beach but I must admit it gives me a special joy to pull the Toyota trucks out with my F150 or F250.

:P

That reminds me of when I wrecked my 93 Toyota truck in Mexicali in 07. My brother was pulling me across the border with his F250 and when we got to the booth agent he said "well son of a gun, I never thought I'd see a Ford pulling a Toyota".

As I recall it was never quite the same.
Think these incidents will show up on CARFAX

Looks like DK's truck. Perhaps the tire pressure gauge was off. Not to worry, Barry will be here soon.

----------yes, with my F-250 "wonder" vehicle to the rescue, but I will deflate the tires adequately as I have learned from many years experience, and other sources.

Ugh! I WISH I had video/photos of me in my 96 4Runner pulling out a crewcab F-350 on 37's stuck in cobble stones. I put on my lockers, 4lo, and drove into wet sand to pull them out.

The guys were like...no way are you gonna pull us out, but your the only person around so lets try it. I think I converted them to Toyota's after that...maybe... ;)

Appears more than a few have had the "experience" ... of getting stuck

My grandfather used to tell stories about AZ .. back in the early 1900's ... talk about bad roads .. suppose that may have been true for a lot of places in that time period

We have it pretty good today ... vehicle and road wise, considering :):)

Thanks enjoy the stories and pictures

It's a given when exploring back-roads Baja, or anywhere for that matter. It's all part of the adventure.

Smart getting onto the wet sand as you would have not been able to budge that truck on the same cobble stone. Thanks for the cobble stone tip.

Yeah they deserve to convert to a TOYota. 37's on a 1-ton

Full size diesel trucks are made to haul. All others just haul A S S.

Interesting how Mexican locals seem to get along just fine with their ford escort, toyota corollas and nissan sentras. Just saying.

Coming from the boat ramp at Mulege one morning, I watched a guy in a 4WD Dodge Diesel (what I drive) drive onto the loose sand and bury it. About 2 minutes later his buddy, also in a 4WD Dodge Diesel blithely drove onto the loose sand to pull him out and..............Buried it. They flagged me down and asked if I would pull them out.....NO...I said....and drove to Almeja where I could sit with a cold Pacifico and watch....You cant fix stupid...
