we shared the last of the WSB last night with our Pta.Banda peeps GC & Bigmike who are waiting to fish...the swell is too big to launch the panga today...dang it.

Just got home Had a great trip Not my biggest fish ever but my biggest White sea bass.
Ill post a trip report later

ooops my bad DAn...I thought you said biggest fish ever...I think the head is still in the freezer so I will report getting the stones if it happens...meanwhile back in the pool...friggin hot here.

WSB stones


they are in the head in what the guys in the white coats call the "inner ears" about a 1 1/2 back above the eyes.....myself don't look for um....more concerned about DINNER!!!

but that head was oh so very tasty!

today guys caught yellowtail in the 20-30lb range right out in front of our place...the water warmed up to the mid 70's now...yeah baby...problem is that the launch ramp is choked with pangas beached for the big swell so we are waiting to get the panga in.

I saw these guys posing for a photo this morning and thought I'd film it as I saw a big set coming in...it reminded me of when I got washed off the rocks there...these guys were lucky.
