Had to close the curtain because of the bright sun this evening. .68" of much needed rain. Tomorrow I'll check the road.

Hope all the bad stuff stays on the West side ( Sorry Shari ). Looks like temps are manageable. Can't express how helpful your daily first hand reports are.
Many thanks for taking the time . Hope to get down in a week or so.

Talked with Orlando this morning and he said the estuary had a lot of water but passable in 2x4 Lots of puddles in the usual places.

Interesting display on your weather report. Can you customize the display or is that standard?

Is "cats and dogs" a technical term for over .5" of rain, and do you see "buckets" when you hit 1"?

Russ, we came in to start the generator so that you did not get wet again. The road was fine, even though a little deep at the estuary.

That was silly to drive all the way out here. I really don't mind going over and running it for a few hours.

Nice to sleep with the fan on low. I think Norbert is history and if it doesn't swing back in travel down the highway should be good. Now if the trmp would just stay below 85º I'd be really happy.

Any morning photo's ?
Hope for the cooler days here on out . Yesterday in Temecula it was 104 and this morning it feels like it's going in the same direction :(
