Went ahead and reserved a stone beach cabin with Antonio and Bety at Campo Archelon. After showing my BIL pics, he grudgingly accepted. He has no idea
how much he will love it. Mom and I are heading out with the van and camping supplies on Sunday before Thanksgiving and everyone else will be meeting
us on Wed with all the turkey fixings. Thank you for all the input and help. I really wanted to meet Mauro and stay at the posada, but maybe next
time. I hope he recovers from whatever accident he suffered. Thanks guys!

I think all hotels in this town are in "nature". So it boils down to how much your brother is spoiled. On Thanksgiving you won't need an A/C.
Antonio's place is quiet - or used to be. They don't appreciate late night parties. Have never been to their cabins, but from what I know, it's a
no-frills, simple accommodation, limited power supply from solar and battery. Won't cost as much as Costa del Sol either.

What's with your brother? I expect and get a 5 star in London or Paris, but Mexico?? Just check that the toilet works and the shower is luke warm.

Baja is an outdoors vacation... even sleeping outside is preferred. Hotels are ok if in transit (so you don't have to unpack for an over night stop),
or if you don't have your own private site, for privacy.

Ditto. Hotel is just a place to sleep. People are asking for "5-star hotel" and they get a 5-star price, an easy thing to do. Mauro's Posada is
reasonably priced, $25 (?). All the internet in hotels is through individual satellite dishes, don't expect it to be the same as NOB, no matter how
much you pay. No WiFi on the camps though. No cell phones (thanks God).
