You can get a passport expedited in a few hours at the us consulate with printed "official"itinerary. Be prepared.

go to san diego passport office on monday and get expedited passport in 1 day. info avail online at dept of state
you probably got plenty of time because roads will be washed out on tuesday, not open again until thursday or whenever???

thanks for all the good answers and the not so informative ones! Obviously the Hurricane came and went....

Hope all the folks in the affected areas are recovering well and my heart goes out to them!

I ended up in Punta San Carlos and here now. Surf is pumping, its hot and muggy but enjoying every bit of mex.

Amazing to drive here and see so little 18 wheeler traffic....
