a picture of that when he wakes up? ) . . . I wonder if Juan, Mingo & Rosa will ever improve PSFO? Or are they gonna let it die slowly?? One of
the worlds best beaches that is for sure . . . Used to SCUBA there, but, no more . . .Too bad. . . |

some one needs to by that place and develop it. I'd pay double the rate to have a nicer place. And not have to look at all the damage that just rots.
I did scuba there too when the compressor worked, went to the south end rocks and murdered sheeps head with a sling. Gave fish to locals, I didn't
like the taste.

developing has a lot of different meanings
yes I don't think I would like to see another Cabo
maybe Capt Mike is talking about, bringing it back to other years
I little more deferred maintence, and some basic improvements
its obvious, nothing or very little has been done

If it was developed then Capt. Mike would have to pay real costs to fly in and out and he might be surprised by the sticker shock! This isn't 1985

I have several pics from 2 weeks ago. I'll see if I can post them later... I just walked in the door from BOLA.

How was the road? We're headed to PSR around Turkey Day.

ha - but DB I can swing that amigo - besides still cheaper than MMLT, MMLP, MMMZ. MMSL, MMSD
I could go on. Properly "rehabbed" PSFO would still be the best place in the world and worth whatever the market would hold.

We went in through the El Arco route, not the BOLA route. I heard that it is passable from BOLA, but very rough. The road is gone over by Piedra
Blanca and you are driving through a new river bed with deep sand. 4x4 highly recommended.

Here are some pics of San Fran following Odile... Sad, in that it sounds like the owner(s) don't want to put any money into repairs and close shop.
Not what it used to be, but still a very special place in Baja.

Maybe the Rodriguez Brothers (Los Pinos Tomato Farms, Mision Santa Maria and Mision Cataviņa hotels, Rancho Grande at Gonzaga Bay) or Carlos Slim can
pick it up for cheap and make a heck of a nice resort out of it?
I have admired the resort location since about 1980... I sold some drip irrigation to them back then. Ray Cannon had envisioned a resort there back in
the 60's, called Hotel Midriff.

. . .I think that a new roof over the large eating / gathering place with views to the hills, airstrip & sea is in order. . .It was a great place
to hang out, drink some cervesas, read & kill toros & also stay out of the sun!!!! . .Hope Juan 7 Co. make it happen.. ..
