This forecast from yesterday has the storm hitting the peninsula. Every other forecast I've seen has it moving northwest.

San Jose del Cabo 10:30am

We've had intermittent showers all morning no more than 1/4" of rain at the most. Winds have picked up to about 15-20mph.

Enjoying the cloudy skies with the temp hovering around 81

She's a Category 3

http://www.weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/tropical-depres...

"Hurricane Linda rapidly strengthened for the second time in its existence on Tuesday morning. Maximum sustained winds increased from 90 mph at 5 a.m. EDT to 120 mph at 11 a.m. EDT. This makes Linda a Category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.

Linda will continue to track northwest, remaining well off Mexico's Baja peninsula while weakening the next couple of days."

That second graphic on the lower right hand corner would be nice if it becomes reality.

Here in Alta California (San Diego Region) we have hot weather 92ºF, 10 miles from the coast, and big thunderclouds building up to the east... lightning cracks heard on AM radio at noon today.

Strong winds and heavy rain on and off since last night here in Cabo - looks to be easing up a bit now so may make a dash for it and take the dog out for a walk.

Clearing up here in Loreto. Probably had about one inch of rain and at 3.20 this afternoon a little shaker to go with it.

We got no rain or wind in Asuncion last night and it did sprinkle for a few minutes this morning. The swell is about 12' looks like so far with a breeze from the SE.

The arroyo was running between Asuncion and Vizcaino last night but might be clear now. The estero is filling up again at the edge of town with the big swell...waves are up to the town bank now.
