In San Bruno, the best guide by far is Rigo Ojeda who is the most knowledgeable and competent guide in the area. If you want to fish out of Mulege then go with Alejandro as he knows that area better, but San Marcos, Tortuga, Santa Rosalia area is hands down to Rigo Ojeda. His cell is 615-104-9850. He also has a fully stocked tackle shop and builds custom rods.

I assume the Alejandro you are referring to is Alex Buckovecz?

Yes his real name is Alejandro. He goes by Alex because it is easier to pronounce and remember for the Norteamericanos.

Got it. Thanks.

My son is almost three years old. His name is also Alexander. He has a friend near Mulege whose name is Alejandro. Alexander calls him "Hawandro." When we were driving back from Mammoth last weekend he said he wanted to go to Hawandro's house in Mexico.

That is great, Big Bear Rider. I like the whole Buckovecz family. They are really wonderful people.
