It's still Invest 90E from what I see on the usual weather sites. (eebmike, weather underground etc...)

Yes now, but if it is what I think, the next hurricane (if it becomes one) will be called Newton.

Yes, I guess Newton would be the next one - I thought you meant that it had already been named. I have no idea what goes on on Talk Baja - I'm not on Facebook.

It's no different than looking at Nomad, just click this: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TalkBaja/

But, it is like Today's Posts reading here, with only one forum... so to find something from the past may be impossible, or just scroll way down...

23,000 members at Talk Baja, so you get a little more perspective there.

Well, that may very well be - I just don't care to sign up for Facebook, maybe some day, who knows..., but not yet. I know I miss out on stuff, but I'm fine with that.

Anyway, getting back to the main topic.......we are ready for this one and know the drill - stocked up on supplies, etc.

Forecast says 80% chance in Abraojos and Guerrero Negro... so maybe.

Forecast has been upgraded for Gonzaga Bay though for 1-2 inches. This is not good for travelers midweek.

This storm reminds me of Javier about a month ago. Wind estimates don't look too bad and that's good! We don't have flooding issues except for the arroyos and most have bridges. Just saw a truck heading back to La Paz filled with large generators govt had sent to Cabo earlier, I believe. Summer fun. :o:coolup: Tio

This one should be just a rain maker...but September is notoriously the worst month for hurricanes. Maybe the government is just covering for any flooding in La Paz.
