Low mileage 7.3 Powerstroke. That truck is worth every penny of what you're asking. Would sell in an instant up in S. Cal .

My '94 4x4 which looks almost exactly like the '96 has "leaf springs" in the front. I put "add-a-leaf's" in the spring-pack's in front and the ride
is like new, or better, and I gained almost an inch and a half in front-end lift. Add-a-leaf's are really cheap and easy to install relatively
speaking. I have them in the rear, also.

My F350 has leafs up front, so I know what that ride is like on dirt. I will not buy a truck without coils up front ever again. But I doubt any of the
Big Three trucks are made like that anymore. It's strong, but it cant absorb small, frequent bumps on dirt the way coils can.

I always thought ride was about shock absorbers and the springs were for the weight

Mostly true!! My F-250 rides like a dream in the dirt with KYB Shocks in the back (leaf springs) and Bilstein in the front (leaf springs), and a 800
lb. 46 inch tall CALLEN CAMPER cab-over shell (50" tall with permanent steel boat rack on top). Coils, and/or "stock" leaf springs are too squishy
and bottom out too easily, IMO, unless a Ford Raptor.
