There also appeared to be a sign that was ignored. I was stuck in a non-signed section near the Salton Sea and I was buried deep within minutes.

Interesting.
Les is making a destination museum with rooms for rent a bar upstairs and several palapas for entertaining. The pool so far unused and unfinished is impressive. Of course it has beach access with the usual palapas. The plan is to open soon to the public. They still do not have permits etc.
The location is north of the Percebu beach and bar along the inland road.
