A lot of people these days seem to be of the attitude that spelling doesn't matter, and neither does grammar. For some bizarre reason, they take
offense if they are corrected. It seems quite adolescent to me.
Personally, I'm happy to have someone correct my spelling, or my pronunciation, or whatever. Why would I want to go on saying or spelling something
wrong? It's like when no one tells you all day that you have spinach stuck between your teeth.
