Let’s all remember this is a privately funded airport by Fred Boreli to cater to his people. He has zero airport building experience. The town is
not against an airport. But to rip out a mile of vegetation and walk away while townspeople are covered in dirt while he sits in his La Jolla beach
home, is an FU to San Juanico residents. People ask,,,,,, when is it getting paved or completed ??? No comment as dust consumes the town. WHAT IS THE
PLAN ?? We heard of phase I , II, III. How about dust mitigation to start. The plan is a scam, this is a Bernie Madoff airport. Those whom invested
are getting hustled by Borelii, like his hotel club, his Villa de punto dos blah blah. Lots of newbies here that don’t remember San Juanico had an
airport in town years ago,and more recently Cadeje has served as a great runway. But Mr Boreli seems to think an airport , with an approach over homes
and a school is a good idea. Had he gone another 2-4 miles away we probably won’t have a conversation.
As far as building a home is an elitist ??? Well, I’d imagine building a home in San Juanico provides way more jobs and income , and future
maintenance income , to the town than any of the freeloading van life campers dodging fees with early AM escapes, stealing wifi and water.
Oh well,,,,,,,,, enough from this grumpasaurus

Bigger is not always better, but as long as there are more and more bucks chasing less and less space towns will continue to expand.
Below is a picture of the Los Angeles airport terminal when I was a child and my Father worked next door in what is now a parking lot. I don’t think
expansion has improved LA or the airport!
That said, the population has increased past what local resources, including the old airport could support!
Will San Juanicto benefit? Only time will tell. In Mexico airport licenses are expensive past what most small towns can afford.
