A picture is worth....It seems that I was wrong. But my guess is that there are many, many more RV's from the US than Canada on most of the beaches.

That winter of 2016-2017, 10 maple leafs for each stars and stripes. It is really a big destination for the Great White North!

Guess you're unaware that many Americans claim to be Canadian when they travel outside the US, complete with maple leaf symbols on their backpacks and
Canadian flags, because Canadians generally are much better received in foreign countries than Americans.
Friend of mine, from British Columbia, travelling in Thailand, struck up a conversation with the Engish-speaking group at the next table in a
restaurant.
"So where you guys from?"
"Canada."
"Oh, where in Canada?"
"British Columbia."
"Where in British Columbia?"
"Victoria Island."
"Haha, you guys are so busted."

I am sure looking forward to getting back to Mulege this winter. Does anyone know what the Covid situation is like in town?

I don't know about the Canadian border or Baja Sur but the northern Baja border has been and is now easy to cross. The only real change I know of is
that Tecate and Mexicali East closes at 2pm.
Me and 5 friends just got back from a 5 day trip down Baja that was cut short because of several car problems. Dead battery, serpentine belt broke
etc. While we had to make changes to our schedule we had a great time. Santa Rosalillita north along the coast to some beautiful beaches. Frog Canyon
and on to Papa Fernandez. Getting lost in Mexicali before crossing with absolutely no problems.
Next trip will be to finish what we started and that is to take many donations along with some food and cleaning supplies to the grandpas.
My only gripe was the changes to getting to the Migration office in Tecate. Parking sucks and I felt I was walking in circles to get to the office.
Next time it will be TJ for my FMM visa.

For my FMM, Mexicali west was a breeze for me, but that was almost a year ago!
If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
"Could do better if he tried!" Report card comments from most of my grade school teachers. Sadly, still true!

In all my international travels (100+ trips), I've never met anyone who didn't like Americans or anyone trying to pawn themselves off as a Canuck.
On the other hand, rode in an Uber yesterday. The girl said she moved here from Canada 2 years ago.
Without any prompting she when on a rant of how she no longer recognizes her country anymore. Said Trudeau was turning it into a communist state.
Her words, not mine.

So the rants of an Uber driver are enough to alert you that "communism" is on the march in Canada and you find it important enough to inform us?
Thank you for saving us from those godless "communists." 1950 is calling, you're invited to Thanksgiving with Norman Rockwell and Joe McCarthy.
You've really gone off the deep end lately. Take gnukid's advice: Sleep, eat healthy, exercise, enjoy healthy relations with others. Relax.

And your point is? Just because you've never encountered something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Not only do Americans claim to be Canadian when
travelling, there are travel blogs that advise it. I know you are under the delusion that the US is the greatest country on earth, but almost no one
outside the US agrees, and most wouldn't move to the US if you paid them to.
Canada Communist? I see. Another right winger like you, bandying words about she doesn't understand the meaning of.

Travel blogs, really?
And now you are bashing the USA? Remind me of Canada's greatest contribution(s) to the world?
Be thankful that the US is your Southern "border wall" and has protected you for hundreds of years overall.

Border rager comments didn't disappoint. Canada did blow the border opening of course. Vax fine but PCR test also?? US not requiring. Those car
battery sized cheap cheese blocks will have to remain on the shelves for the day trippers who will have wait some more.
Great Canadian inventions, good one. Yes will never stack up on that score. I knew we had insulin and basketball. Consider Real inventions only, not
tacked on patents or stuff that didn't need inventing.....
We can share AG Bell and all his inventions- ok telephone has some italian in there too
And the Lightbulb, original patent
my nods to:
Plexiglass
AM radio
Sonar
IMAX film
snowblower
honorable mention:
canola oil
peanut butter
Best and most useful in everyday application: Robertson screw head.
