Maybe he would love to go up to California and try to get in the middle of the fire zones, and then get upset when houses don't burn down. I bet the homeowners would beat the hell of out him if they found out.

The easiest way to share a video on here is uploading the video to Youtube or Vimeo, etc.... and then using the Flash code in the FAQ to post it here.

Personally, I find Spanish more comprehensible. I wonder what the post said before being "edited." Is this a typical Alaska way of speaking? I've heard this syntax before!

Nothing...light wind, and light rain off and on. Will see tonight, but looks like a complete miss. Everyone is so tired from getting ready they don't want to have a Pacifico!!!

Ha!! I was just gonna say that I hoped those newly planted palms were going to hold up!!

The beach seems to be getting shorter, alright. I hope Juan is not in his office.

Pacside: the water isn't close enough to worry about. Most of the water is coming in on this end. I am shocked to hear that Todos Santos has nothing - we are getting hammered here.

I just told my foreman that everything will be just fine as long as we don't hear Crash, boom, bang and glass flying. So far, so good on that end. The wind is really whipping right now.

I'm working on those videos.

I'm a little worried about the new palms too. Hard to tell from here, but I think we lost at least one of them. We're trying to stay on top of these up here. None have fallen on the villas - thank you God.

So far the Hotel is holding it's own and we have no property damage that I have found. It's a little scary going outside right now.

mtgoat666, Fact is, I've been thru more hurricanes than you will ever have the "thrill" of experiencing. Ever heard of Camille, 1969 on the MS Gulf Coast. Just one to mention. You probably don't recall that one. They're exciting. But seeing your home destroyed? Yea, I'll take take a pass if given the choice. It's easy to view these storms from your "arm chair". You can always switch to "Dances with the Stars" and try a new step or two.
