Living in AZ we have played with scorpions way to many times, however, you removed to much of his tail, you should have just nipped off the tip of the stinger only, not the last section.
Personally, i have been stung 3 times by the bark variety, the last time on my thumb. It numbed my right arm up to my shoulder for 3 days.

OKAY...so here's a recent picture of ME

Taken last month during a trip to Seattle area for a family wedding. Visiting Pike Place Market here and enjoying a Greek cousin of the taco...a Lamb Gyro.

Definitely got my Santa look going on in this one, complete with rosy cheeks and all!

It takes some practice, and the link provided does give three methods, though that my be confusing...

Basically, use Photobucket.com to 'host your photos' (it's free)... When you load your photos into Photobucket PLEASE pre-select a reduced size by clicking the Select Upload Options link (640 is best, 800 is maximum.). SOME NOMADS neglect to do this step and then the Nomad page goes wide off to the right making reading and viewing photos difficult for those with standard 15" screens.

Then, once you have your photos loaded onto your Photobucket album, put your mouse on the photo link IMG and copy that to your mouse and then post in here on your Nomad post... You may post several at a time.

You are welcome to u2u me (that's a private message on the Nomad site) for additional help, or even send me the photo and I will post for you.

The last time I saw those two guys they were trying to convince me that climate change was a myth because FOX News said so!

It has been fun to see faces again. I wish there was a way to reclaim the images that were lost when Doug needed to up-grade his site. I had a thread called Mugshots.

http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=30072#pid3013...

I think this may be the second time around, or what was left after some images were lost. It does give us a comparison.

I found this contemporary mugshot in "my pictures" after some kind of ignorant keystroke while trying to set up my webcam.

This is my thinking about webcam drivers or Bill O'Reilly face!

Baja Angel and Baja Bernie were also both from Santee when I met them. Baja Angel lives with me in Oceanside, and Baja Bernie is having fun all over, I think!
