Jeeezo...Sally....I was wondering about you just the other day when someone mentioned Capo Beach, and here you are. Just goes to show Nomad is an infection not easily lost.
Good to see you, Sal, and thanks, Dick for the heartwarming recollection.
You too, Ralph, for digging up this thread. I finally went back and reviewed the whole thing, and some of the names jumped off the page with memory.
Muy fun. Thanks again, everybody.

Thanks DENNIS! I'm still here, caring for my 91 yr old Dad, vascular Dementia. It's a 24/7 job and I can't go anywhere, let alone Baja! Maybe some day... Nice to be missed! ;)

There's a few photos at the link below (hope it works) of JR & Carol and their house (as well as mine) in La Barca and also a crazy photo of JR holding the skeletons of two eels that fought till the death.

Really miss that guy and our rum induced conversations.

I chat with Carol from time to time. She's doing great.

Saludos!

I miss him too. He and I had some fascinating discussions about....structural bamboo. He was very intuitive and passionate about the subject and although it didn't start that way, I think I got more information from him than the reverse :)
