Read Lou Federico's book "One Hell of a Ride" where he describes building the original Hotel Mulege and Punta Chivato. He had guests such as Ann Margaret, John Wayne, Jane Mansfield, and a few other well known personalities. A very interesting book on Baja in the time before the road was put in. Don Johnson at the Hotel Serenidad has had quite a few celebrities stop in, and was a personal friend of John Wayne. I have heard Olivia Newton-John had a house around Conception Bay also. I have run into Harrison Ford and Patrick Swayzy checking in at the San Filepe airport in the past, not to mention Javier Arellano-Felix and a couple of other thugs buying fuel at the same airport. He was later busted which started the current drug wars. By the way- he was given preferential treatment by everyone at the airport and I wondered why at the time.

A few years ago, 10, I was in a panga looking at whales in San Ignacio Lagoon and Glen Close was in the panga next to us.

I knew I could count on you BG, oh, and Maynard, from Tool lives here, has a very successful vineyard, and the drummer from Pearl Jam left. I wanna play, too.
