it seems the GFDL is creeping ever so slightly to the south. if it holds true, at least the strongest part of this storm will stay offshore until it
slams the mainland.
anyone have fotos to share?

From this morning. Slight decrease in strength andprojected path is a bit more South. I'm showing a wider shot because there is a second ridge
of weather moving south that is suppose to influence Ricks movement. The big question is what will happen between the 1st & 2nd weather systems
moving South. Good news for us up here is that we appear to be out of any projected paths. But I think we'll get some rain. Anyway it's still
early.

All on-site weather reports are much appreciated by us who are only "vitually" in Baja Sur. Looks like some sprinkles of rain on the Villa del Arco
live, (every five minutes) webcam .

Dark and calm here in San Jose this morning
76
Our weather station is still down from the Jimena so I dont have barometric pressure.
Time to do the hurricane shuffle.
Off to Mega for last minute items.
Well first off to the beach for our walk and hopefully swim.
