OH WELL...

I'm actually only posting this to boost my "star power". LOL!

And to say I hope ElInvesti8 can get the name change without loosing all his "star power".

When I first started lurking on this forum, ElI8~ was off on a rant about something. I posted snarky comments about that situation. I have to admit, BN is the first ever forum I had participated in and I didn't know or understand all the "nuances" of internet posting.

Well, isn't it amazing how we grow and progress? Now we are cheering for a name change!

PS-I publicly apologize to ElInvesti(g8r) for my snarky comments. Sorry M8!

'Nuts

I remember BajaNuts. I used GIFS such as this one.
I look back on it and laugh wishing I would have kept the GIFS and the signature I was using at the time so I could have placed it into the JrBaja Memorial Chicken Coop Group Museum over on the other side of the veil. Oh Well! And a far as you making ”Snarky comments” no need to apologize I probably deserved them.

A David K 'bump' defined:

When someone is seeking info that was discussed here in the past, but didn't know about it (there are new Nomads every day).

When it may be interesting to review an older post for a variety of reasons.

When I get a U2U or Email ASKING me to bring up something because that Nomad couldn't find it.

What isn't a reason I bump something:

To increase my post count! God no, I have plenty and there are no points or monies for the most posts here. It doesn't matter at all to me. I post on other forums and only this one am I the most active/ oldest active member (after the founder).

In fact, I delete frequently any of my posts that are outdated, in error, or were posted in defense, if the issue has been settled or no longer matters. I do not believe in keeping NEGATIVE stuff up just to get laughs or otherwise. When one deletes a post, his number goes down... so it is clear that I don't post only to increase by status here.

To me Nomad is for sharing Baja experiences, making friends, helping others... with facts and history. It's not some game to irritate others, name call or push an opinion. There may be an exchange of opinions if one person posts one of his own... But, it should be our right to hold opinions without insulting others with different ones, right?

Now, how about some trip reports, photos, or stories about Baja... Instead of just posting your criticizing how or when someone posts. That (to me) is more indicative of posting only to increase your number...

More Baja, less la la!:light::D
