C'mon Skeet...the Devil didn't make you do it.
You're a "wingnut". You aren't alone, and as long as you don't get a show on FOX, you can't do much harm. I expect you to be you.
I'm sorry you're sick again. I invite you to be conscious and mindful as you approach the end of a life lived "hard". Notwithstanding your being
"saved" none of us is getting out of this alive. The world, and it's people, which have so dissapointed you are in a situation far too dire for
pessimism.
You could win in two ways here. You could decide to not go on rants against people because you are afraid of what is in the future for you. You could
accept that you are old and that death is age appropriate. There is peace in that reality.
By withholding your pessimism, you could become at least neutral in the battle between those of us who value rationality and hope, and those
armegedden cultists with whom you've aligned yourself.
Perhaps someone can offer a better way to express the feeling that if one is: not part of the solution, they are part of the problem.
It seems you have several interesting paths around you from which to choose.
Peace and blessings
Undoubtedly, there are people who cannot afford to give the anchor of sanity even the slightest tug. Sam Harris
"The situation is far too dire for pessimism."

Been thru Amarillo a time or two, not a bad place. Shamrock is a little west. Not a good place to have supper, but a good place to sleep.

Hey Skeet: Don't let it get you down. I've had a quadruple bypass and thought I was good to go. They didn't know back then that you could clog up the
old arteries later. Now I have had 9 stents and a pacemaker. It can seem to be a bit of a pain, but getting it done beats the alternative. It's really
interesting that after the ninth stent, (five went in at one time), the doc put me on a drug called Vytorin. It handles the cholesterol that is
produced by what you eat and what you inherited genetically. Since then, (four years), everything has been clear and great. And whatever they tell
you, beer does lower the blood sugar and is good for you, just fattening. So, relax, get it done and come back to give us more insight on the baja!

So, the rant is due to a needed stent or FOX News?
Whew, thought someone had slipped him a Dylan Thomas book of poems........

I don't even watch Fox News anymore. Once for about 5 minutes last week.
Glad to hear about you success with all the Stents. Hope that I can do as well as you.

Just thinking that maybe you ought to think about just what Texas town you will be headed to. And I didn't spot anything in Modesto on this list.
