Welcome to Nomad...! Funny way to start posting by making up things about somebody you don't know here? Maybe you are someone else who has been here and just using a new name to throw mud??? :smug::light:

Why would maps and satellite images of an old road annoy ANYONE...? Maybe you guys are just mad that Prop. 19 failed? Lighten up... let me do my thing on Nomad (that I have done since 2002 when this forum began)... You who don't like my helping others have joined Nomad AFTER me, then you knew the conditions here... As they say, if the water's too cold maybe you shouldn't be swimming?:light:

Only thing boring here is your stupid 39 word- post reply. You didn't impress no one here with it....

Hey....surf creeps...and all others with God-given rights to Baja California...WRONG!!! Your place in this world is not as big as this country, not as big as this peninsula or the people that occupy it. Must you be reminded again that you're probably guests...if that. Number One ~ be careful on that road, I've killed vehicles through foolish endeavors of shortcuts and fast fixes. I surf here too. Please don't run into me or my family with the attitude that you are projecting here. I'm so tired of this pseudo-ownership that so many fools seem to have in this. Every one of you is blessed to be in the presence of this land and its people. It sickens me to hear this mine, mine, mine, mine, mine attitude that is so prevalent in so many of these posts. Why don't you bring some extra garbage bags with your ass, pick up some of that chit and trash and stop flapping your gums about YOUR secret spot. Nothing here is YOURS, but the trash you pack up in a bag and take home with you. I don't even want to discuss this with my son or daughter to let them know the attitude that is so prevalent, which I have a strange feeling is the attitude you are trying to escape. Save your BS, pick up some trash, and be careful who you cross. It might be the cross you are hung by.
Thanks, Lionel

Senor, gracias. I must say, though, that your post is the best ever!

Whether it is to my attribute or my demise, I am a Southern Californian immigrant of Danish descent. Nice work!

P.S. Surf Kooks and Southern Californian Clowns love the Hoff!!!

P.P.S. YOU are the man that my family and kids want to enjoy a beer on the beach with someday.
Thanks. Lionel

Getting back to the road in question.

I think it was used in the 1985 Baja 1000 race. Coming down the Pacific side and up the Cortez side. The markings were there in 1987 when I last rode it.

This has gone from an obscure long forgotten/unused road post to an epic saga.:o

I still want to know how a surfer fron SAN DIMAS is worried that others may go to "his" spot in BAJA? Maybe because someone living 70 miles from the nearest beach in California wouldn't be welcome to ANY California beach. At least that is what I have heard.:saint:

I also hear there are good waves in SAN MIGUEL , might be worth looking into.:tumble:

Well, Surfer Jim round trips to my spots are less then 70 miles. I do maintain spots in the line-up at 3. They are all in No. Orange Co. Go ahead and have David Google them for you. I got 4 sessions in in the last 7 days. How about you? San Miguel has some killer surf show the boys some respect can you might get one by yourself
I do not refer to myself as a surfer because my life is much richer that that.

The following quotes are all from me on this tread :

There are no secrets but the things I value the most I worked the hardest for. That includes research and fact finding and the doing.

This has nothing to do about The Sisters or anything related to surfing.

I have already said there are no secret places. Some are a little harder to find.

It has never about the surf spots it is about self reliance and discovery .

I think my last comment summed it up:

My rant was spewing information never about a the sisters. I should have used a Sea of Cortez post.
I believe that you should find you own Adventure and experience the joy of discovering for yourself. Detailed directions take from from the experience. IMHO. Ask me u2u about any place and I will help if I can.
Some of use prefer to do our own heavy lifting.
I will be in the minority here and except that.
I'm Mike and I'm a butt head.

So Surfer Jim if you want to call me out go ahead.
I hope you are up to the task. I know that take anything comes out of this toy box.:
