With that you could have covered the green fees at one of the best golf courses I have ever played, right there in Farmington. Probably would have had a lot more fun...

Soulpatch; No! I do not think History will repeat itself for at least another 4 generations;

SanQuintinsince73; Go to your nearest Masonic Lodge and talk to a Mason for your Answeres.

Two-Eyed Tequila is Boose/Liquid Drug and not aganist the Law. There was a full page in yesterdays Amarillo Globe news listing all the Arrest for Possession of Dope. A full Page.

As long as we have Parents failure to teach their children the difference between right and Wrong, Self Discipline, Homor, Caring and Kindness, Not to be Greedy, not to be Cheaters, this great country will contuine to go down the Hill to Disaster.

From an "addled Ole Man":

Right now in the Texas Panhandle it is Minus 2 Degrees, with a dusting of Snow.
Now Soulpatch you should have been with me the last 2 days of Feeding and caring for my Horses in this Cold Weather. I just wonder if Blurps like you could stand a little hard work on a Cold Day or would you need a Couple of Joints to get you out of the House??

Skeet: Soulpatch is a firefighter. I suspect he has done a bit of hard work in his life.

If a boy is born under the eastern star and is given opportunities, a leg up on the ladder, offered 32nd degree but interestingly not 33rd, isn't that called nepotism-something most people disparage, which would be the opposite of working for it from scratch? Just wondering from your enlightened perspective, if you could illuminate, was it easier for you do you think than others who are not born under the eastern star? Did you receive benefits and opportunities not offered to the common man? Do you feel some guilt about that? Or do you still feel sanctamonius and virtuous, even right now?

Wow, brings up an argument I had with my dad when young...

I was of the opinion that I did not need anyone!! to get buy..... I could just go live like the "Red Man" in the Forests, much like the Indians along the Verge River in AZ.. stay high in the summer, come back down in the winter... perfect, just perfect...

Asked me how I was getting there, car... nope "others" made that ... then I'll walk.. he then asked what kind of shoes I'd be wearing, and did I plan on taking my "down" sleeping bag.. and all that other "stuff" like metal axes and ALL the rest ......... I was about 14 at the time

After my dad had shown me, that I would be hard pressed to try and "make it" on my own... I mean standing naked in a forest .... Well it made me think.. something I really didn't do at that time in my life, along with much the rest too come to think of it..

Just another way of looking at things ....

But, I still think Government is past Pluto in size, scope and debt ... and the burroes up there, over there, down there or where ever.. can't pour pees out of the proverbial "boot"

The President and all these guys were caught "off guard"... we have been involved in this "drama in the Middle East" for one hell of a long time... and does have to do with religion... folks over there really don't think so much of US at this time...

Hope this isn't to hard for ya JOe, and I take medication which in tended to help me forget...... my God, wish I could forget it ALL, but sadly I'm still here, at this time... funny, just remember the wife.... on my last birthday... turned 69... but, anyway the wife say's... "I can't believe you have lived this long"... and trust me, I feel it and am as shocked as she ..... buy all things, know to man, I should be dead ... but, it is what it is..

And its all good... and of course, I don't run it through word..

:):)

For the Unlearned in our society:

The 33 Degree is an Honorary Degree bestowed on those who are and have been active in FreeMasonry.

There are Masons all over the World. It makes "Good Men" "Better".

Why not seek out a Mason near you and ask him??

I could never forgive the people of California had they sold the Governorship to a hag like Meg. As it panned out, she made her most patriotic effort by pumping 200,000,000 bucks into the economy. That was nice.

Since you're inviting us to ask, I am curious...are women treated as equals in the free masons?

Yes, of course the nuance of degrees bestowed is complicated since you are a secret society, by the way, why would someone join a group that has a secret agenda, perhaps with the hope it will pay off with some sort of dividend, one that you wouldn't receive if you didn't join? What kind of a person joins a group that says we're really great, but we can't say more, just join us and over your lifetime you'll learn why? When would you know it's a mistake, when it's too late?

You mentioned that your mother was member of the eastern star which certainly means that your grandfather on her side was a Mason. So, you are a multigenerational member of the FreeMasons which has it's obvious and well known implications.

Therefore, you are entitled to some advantage, exposure to more 'secrets', advantageous relationships with other multigenerational Masons such as judges and politicians as you have clearly noted here, certainly you are entitled to achieve 32nd degree by your birthright, though presumably often a higher degree for a high achieving multigenerational Mason?

So what's going on, Have you become disinterested? Did you get what you expected? What did you learn if anything? Can't say?

You describe a sort of division of society, the enlightened over the blurps, I guess that is what this thread is about. There are those who are perceived as stupid, non-deserving blurps, disregarded idiots who must be led by the few enlightened, intentionally misled at times and left uneducated because they are undeserving, isn't that right? A dumbed down electorate is more easily manipulated by false left right arguments? The eye of a pyramid supported by four sides is hard to topple.

So, if the Mason are do gooders wouldn't their primary motive be to educate the masses about the secret societies that keep them stupid and uneducated? Would their motive be to turn the masses into low scoring students with low quality education or high scoring students with critical thinking skills, science and math for all? Especially those at the bottom, Skeet? Wouldn't a true altruistic virtuous person be devoted to helping all people become better critical thinkers, with improved skills in grammar, logic and rhetoric? Or would you be devoted to disparaging others with a pedantic insults and put downs for their unenlightened plight?

That's what this is all about isn't it Jesse, Skeet, Dennis? The societal division created by lack of education, a controlled dumbed down society, or one might say a lack of shared of secrets, reflected in thousands of people shouting and honking for their candidate on the Malecon?

Which side do you fall upon, the enlightened elite looking down at so-called idiots or the side that is working to educate the people to become educated and independent of secrets societies and their domination?

Finally, at what point is it openly offensive and hypocritical to claim higher virtue while casting others as failures in your eyes for their lack of resources, or for their lack of multigenerational connections? And to those who encourage and support these insults like Natalie Ann and others here what role do you play in the big picture, the election, with your humorous conciliatory agreement? What role do you have in the oppression of the masses? And if you claim none, no role whatsoever--that itself would speak loudly as does your complimentary speech in response to Skeet's disparaging diatribe.

I have no idea about any of this, I am only asking questions prompted by Jesse's post and learning about people and society here on Baja Nomad, the looking glass to the world. What say thee?

Well Gnukid the first thing you need to learn is that the Masons are not a Secret Society but better said is a Society with some Secrets.
Starting with King Solomans Temple'.

Men Like Mozart, Kipling, George Washington, John Wayne, Will Rogers, and Many many others.
There are no Women Masons.
Men join the Masonic Lodge to become Better Men. Some of those things such as Prudence, Tempurence, Fortitude, and Justice. How to Control their Desires and keep their Passions with in Due Bounds.
All kinds of Men from those with very little Money to those with Millions Join. Millions of dollars are spent each day on Cripple Children, Lauange Disorder, hearing, and other things suffered by Children.

Aperson is not"Entitled" to become a Mason. He must want to be Mason, then ask a Mason. He is Voted on and can be denied by anyone setting in the Lodge, if he is found to be unworthy.

Now Kid what you must realize is that all people are not equipted with Smarts, desire to work and better themselves, have respect, will fight for what they beleive in and etc.
There are many people who try and improve their lot, their are many people who do not ry, do not seek to be educated, do not want too put out eggort.
Many are Parasites, many are Commie types, Socialist Type who think that those who do have a desire to work should support them, the Parasite.

I was never entitled to be a Mason. I had to work hard through the first 3 Degrees and then had to work hard to obtain the 32nd Degree. You just do not understand and I will suggest that if you are a Good Man Now, go and find a Mason and tell him you would like to become a Mason. You will never regret it!
