We received about 8"-10" of new snow from fridays storm, partly cloudy this a.m. Tahoe has been royally dumped on reports up to 10' of new snow at the mountain tops just in time for the presidents weekend. Excuse me now, I need to go shovel my friggin' driveway

The snow levels about 300 feet above our place, looks like the park got at least 6 inches of new snow!

San Francisco has been storming and cold. Actually snowing on Mt. Tam and Mt Diablo and Hamilton. My daughter is visiting Univ. Oregon in Eugene and says it snowed yesterday.
I can see why now it's "climate change" and not "global warming".

Its 35 with no wind in North Idaho. Couple inches of snow on the ground to cover up the mud. My barn yard looks like soup, gotta put on the xtra tuffs to feed stock. I'm watching a bald eagle feed on a road killed deer through a spotting scope and thinking about Baja. And sipping on a Negra Modelo.

We got lots of wind and rain last night out here on the beach west of San Quintin. Today it has been sunny/cloudy off and on with a couple of strong showers in between. The sun is currently trying to break through again and the temperature is 68°F.

Mike...is the La Ribera fishing report as good as that weather report?

p.s. I was in Panama very recently ...fishing and looking around the beach areas. Was over 90 every day with high humidity making it feel like a sauna. Can't say I love the climate, but I do love the fishing.

Big winds last night/early this AM. Sprinkles of rain is all - looks like the Sierra got some which would be good. Today few clouds, little wind and cool.

Roger,
Fishing here right now is flatlined, water has finially calmed but still cold due
to damn wind, but that worm should turn soon. Orcas are still snacking on
rays as of yesterday. At least some critter's are happy!
Road trip down this way in yore plans? I don't have any Red Truck, but might
could wrassle up a decent substitute!

You bet, Mike. We are thinking of a RV camping trip with the boat down your way, but not until after March 9th. Will bring our own Red Truck and welcome the comparison tastes of the substitute.

Hopefully, the fishing will be outstanding by that time. Hope is a fisherman's best lure.

Roger,
Maybe by then the antique Confessional that I bought in Guad will
be here and set up, so we can confess our fishing sins!

hah..we best not tempt any heavenly retaliations in the confessional. I 'think' I am on some kind of parole/probation from the church.

Co-Pilot, on the other hand is in good standing.

Keep us informed on those glowing weather reports.

Buenas,
Weather is wet and just shy of snowing. Strong low pressure is moving in with 16 to 18 inches of snow expected over the next 24 hrs. It's making for difficult expedition packing but the trip shall continue.
36 hrs and BSC here we come!
Keep the beers on ice and extra wasabi please!
