Now I could live in that joint.

I know I swore I would not venture back to baja but this place intigues me. Never been there but been reading and hearing about it for many years. Also it's only a day drive from San Diego. God I just hate the sireen lure of baja.

They are open and already have had a few guests so you'll need to call ahead.

Heard there were some tuna off shore 20 miles yesterday. Some footballs and at least two tackle busters. Hopefully there will be a good run this year.

Up and running

Hello all, this is Jean from Bahia Asuncion B&B. We've had some really great guests who've loved the place--we'll that's what they said!! Two casitas are ready, my awesome kitchen is almost done along with the breakfast room. We are booked until the first week in October, have some bookings around Oct. 20. Manuel Arce Aguilar, a local guide says he's doing great and got his first good tuna. Victor Verduzco, another guide, was out yesterday and brought in the yellowtail. So things are looking good. Prices are $65 usd for 2, including breakfast. Hope to see some of you soon!!

I would have to say the people that wrote the blog about the stay there were more than satisfied. It is good to hear of a succes story in these times of uncertainty in Baja Sur.
